Hi, I’m Maya Ellison, an interior designer with a soft spot for cozy corners, sunlit reading nooks, and homes that feel like a warm hug at the end of a long day.
I started Tiny Space Muse after years of working in the interior design industry, watching so many people believe that beautiful homes were reserved for sprawling houses and unlimited budgets. I disagreed — loudly, and often. Some of the most magical spaces I’ve ever styled were studio apartments, rented rooms, and cozy 600-square-foot cottages where every inch was used with intention.
That belief became the heart of this blog: you don’t need a big space to live a beautifully designed life.

Tiny Space Muse began as a personal blog — a place for me to share the small transformations I was making in my own apartment: a thrifted mirror reimagined, a corner turned into a plant sanctuary, a wall of art made entirely from flea market finds.
